What is your reason for mentoring? I enjoy seeing the students transform from young high schoolers to wonderful young adults and impact my community.
What is your favorite part of FIRST? Seeing the student alumni at the competitions.

What is your reason for mentoring? I want to make the next generation of kids better than my generation and I feel like doing FIRST for so long and seeing it change over time, I can help improve the program and the lives of all the kids involved.
What is your favorite part of FIRST? Competitions but most of all the people you meet and become friends with over the years.

What is your name? Katie McGown
What is your occupation? Full time college student and substitute teacher.
What is your reason for mentoring? Being a former member of Gael Force, I wanted to use what I learned in the program to inspire future students in STEM.
What is your favorite part of FIRST? The energy of the competitions is always exciting but seeing the hard work and determination of the students on display at competitions is even more rewarding. 

What is your name? Meaghan Calkins
What is your occupation? Teacher, physics
What is your reason for mentoring? This program was not available in my high school and I thought this program was good to get involved in. I knew it had great veteran mentors and students that I wouldn’t have in a regular class. I feel like I’m involved in a different aspect of Clinton High School.
What is your favorite part of FIRST? Last year was my first year, St. Louis was my favorite because I got to see kids and robots from all over the world and that was awesome!

What is your reason for mentoring? 
Son was in lego league and I mentored there, eventually my son went to the robotics program and I’ve stuck there ever sense. I like building things and that was it!
What is your favorite part of FIRST?
 Seeing the kids grow and change over time.

What is your name? Chris Perfetto
What is your occupation? 
Manager at Raytheon for Mechanical Radar Design Projects
What is your reason for mentoring? 
I started when my daughter joined and I found it an excellent opportunity to get engaged with the competitions and foster the development of my daughter and my teammates. 
What is your favorite part of FIRST?
 The interactions between the mentors the students and the development of the solution to the years event.

What is your reason for mentoring?
I remember when the original Team 126 won the original FIRST challenge. It was a big deal to the town. The program is the corner stone of Clinton High School’s effort to teach hands on technical skills to its students. I work at Nypro and just wanted to help out this year.
What is your favorite part of FIRST?
Its my first year, but so far I am impressed with the initiative shown by the students involved. The mentors do a great job, but the kids are very motivated to learn and to share ideas / design concepts.

Recruited by another mentor and because I like to help the students reach new potentials.

I enjoy helping the students build.
